While the HERO utilizes heat-resistant materials such as Nomex® for the back of the hand and the cuff, the back of the hand on this technical rescue glove is made of Spantex® and the cuff of neoprene. These materials still provide adequate protection while being more cost-efficient.

Spantex® is a durable material that offers sufficient protection against mechanical impact while remaining flexible and comfortable to wear. The neoprene cuff ensures a secure fit and added protection, while being more cost-effective than Nomex®.
