The firefighter’s protective glove features a short knitted cuff made of Nomex®, which provides additional protection and comfort. A PTFE membrane serves as a moisture barrier, making the glove both waterproof and breathable.

Another standout feature of the ELK DEFENDER 3.0 SHORT BLACK is the RFID chip integrated into the wrist protection of both the left and right gloves. The glove is certified washable at 40°C and retains its EN 659-compliant properties for up to 25 wash cycles. To maintain its water-repellent qualities, re-impregnation is recommended after every fifth wash.
