Our bellows normally protect moving machine parts to reduce wear and extend maintenance intervals. We have always believed that our bellows are also beautiful to look at. However, we didn't know that bellows can also inspire as an art object - until a few weeks ago. That's when we received an order to produce four bellows on a huge scale (210 x 120 x 300 cm). As part of his work for Art Cologne 2018, the artist Johannes Wohnseifer created a work of art consisting of these four bellows. The four bellows can be used individually or zipped together to form a 12-metre-long tunnel.The outside of the bellows fabric is printed with a motif of various jackets and zippers. The inside, on the other hand, is a bright shade of orange. This work of art was on display at this year's Art Cologne (19-22.04.).
