During winding, a moistened leather tube is pulled over a multi-part mold. The tube is brought into shape using a cord. After drying, the molded parts are removed piece by piece. No mold is required for sewing. Shaping is done using wire rings, which are available in almost any diameter. Wire rings and folded steel springs give the bellows shape and stability.<\/p>\n
